Maison Jean Cavé has one of the most beautiful collections of vintages dating from 1888 to the present day. Distilled in Lannepax in the Gers, this 1979 Millésime Armagnac has aged in oak barrels, carefully selected by the cellar master. Whatever the typicity and the character of the year of distillation, it is working to restore suave waters, complex with various aromas. This allows this 1979 vintage to deliver all its aromatic power to us.

Dress: The dress of this 1979 Armagnac is rather clear with beautiful orange shades with copper reflections.
Nose: the nose is complex. Many aromas of sweet spices emerge from the glass intertwined with vanilla and cocoa notes.

The Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is west of the appellation. It runs on the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the terroir, the floors are sablo simedy, called "sandblasters". Bas-Armagnac brandies are delicate and very fruity.
