    The Armagnac Ténarèze, around the city of Condom, which some baptize the capital of Ténarèze, covers the northwest part of the Gers and the south of Lot-et-Garonne (around Mézin and to Nérac).
    Its brandy comes from Boulbena and clay-limestone soils mainly composed of brick clay silts as well as sands and pebbles.
    Ténarèze is the second producer region of Armagnac (behind the Bas-Armagnac) with 32% of surfaces identified for production.
