Dress: the dress of this 1943 vintage is amber with sumptuous copper reflections.
This brown color is the fruit of breeding in oak barrel for several decades.
Nose: the nose is fresh and fruity. The aromas of dried fruit and honey dominate this stage of tasting.
Mouth: on the palate, the attack is done in roundness, the brandy is very silky. There is a slight wooded side which quickly leaves its place to the aromas of orange and prune.
Final: the final of this Armagnac Sempé 1943 reveals delicate aromas of tobacco and liquorice.

The Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is west of the appellation. It runs on the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the terroir, the floors are sablo simedy, called "sandblasters". Bas-Armagnac brandies are delicate and very fruity.
