With this Marc Darroze range plays on the complementarity and complexity of each of its brandy. So each cuvée is chosen with attention to enter a subtle assembly. The age indicated on each of the bottles is that of the youngest of Armagnacs who make up this assembly. By tasting this range, the amateur will discover very fruity aromas on the youngest, rather spices and candied fruit on the Armagnacs in thirty years, while the oldest assemblies (50 years for example) will offer chocolate and coffee flavors. It is this extraordinary aromatic palette that these great assemblies offer you to travel.

Dress: This 8 -year -old assembly offers us a beautiful golden yellow dress with greenish reflections.
Nose: the nose is light and not very wooded. A rich fruity bouquet is expressed in glass through aromas of prune, quince or candied orange.
Mouth: on the palate, the tannins are present without being aggressive. There are always notes of candied fruit.

The Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is west of the appellation. It runs on the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the terroir, the floors are sablo simedy, called "sandblasters". Bas-Armagnac brandies are delicate and very fruity.

The story of the Darroze family begins at Villeneuve-de-Marsan with Jean. The famous gascon chef, in love with his South-West and all his greedy riches, introduces his son Francis to the art of the kitchen, of course, but also to the good wines, and makes him discover the most beautiful-eaux-eaux-de-vie d' armagnac. Not surprisingly, Francis was passionate about the armagnac and from the end of the 1960s, selected, raised, and bottled his beautiful discoveries. The Darroze adventure is launched. Marc, son of Francis, soon joined his father and together they became true treasure hunters. Today, Marc continues the adventure of the Armagnacs Darroze, one of the Maisons de l' eau-de-vie gasconne.
