The Gélas Maison has been developing and pupil of the Eaux-de-Vie in the Gers for over 150 years. Over time, the house has been able to innovate and offer a range of complete Armagnac (vintage, assemblies, single cask ...) as this assembly 30 years of age. It consists of several aged life, the youngest of which entered its composition is raised in oak barrels for at least 30 years. We find, through this range of "age account", well-balanced brandy and a beautiful aromatic complexity. Rancio's first notes appear, a sign of alchemy between wood and life.

Dress: The dress of this 30 years of age is characterized by a beautiful amber gold color with subtle copper reflections.
Nose: the nose is rich, the aromas of tobacco and liquorice emerge from the glass during the olfaction. Then arrive gourmet apricot and chocolate notes.
Mouth: The attack is flexible and harmonious with round tannins. We find the tobacco notes that tend towards roasted aromas.
Final: this assembly of the House of Gélas We offer a good length at the end of the mouth with aromas of grilled hazelnut.

The Bas-Armagnac, whose capital is Eauze, is west of the appellation. It runs on the Landes and the western part of the Gers. It represents 67% of the areas identified in Armagnac. In this part of the terroir, the floors are sablo simedy, called "sandblasters". Bas-Armagnac brandies are delicate and very fruity.
